MSME intl trade fair delegates on special heritage walk in Odisha capital

Bhubaneswar: They have come all the way from Germany, Korea, Iran and Bangladesh and the special heritage walk organised this morning introduced them to the architectural marvels in Odisha capital.

The foreign delegates, here for the ongoing Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) International Trade Fair, gasped in awe at the beautiful sculptures and idols.

"I am extremely happy to be in this historic city and discovering its beautiful monuments and green surrounding. The temple architecture is wonderful and unique," Farid Eskafi, one of the participants, said. He wishes to visit Odisha again.

"We love the way laterite stones are designed against a beautiful landscape with rare and endangered plants adding to the spread," said Zarin Bastain and Vahid Taherkhani, who also took part in the walk.

The MSME fair was inaugurated by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at Exhibition Ground here on March 5. With food processing sector as the central theme, 350 stalls have been set up by international organisations, industry associations, export houses, state PSUs and central government organisations at the ground. These include 30 start-ups.
