Niali: At least 14 sheep were killed in attack by mysterious animal here last night creating panic among the locals.

The sheep those were fastened at house were found dead in the morning. While 10 sheep were killed in Nuabazaar under Kantapada block in Niali, four more were dead at Adaspur area in Cuttack district.

Earlier on Saturday night, three sheep were killed and one was injured in the attack by mysterious animal in the area.

The administration is yet to resolve the mystery behind killing of a large number of sheep in the past few months.
