Naveen, Modi wish people of Odisha on Utkala Dibasa

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted people of Odisha on the auspicious Utkala Dibasa today.

Odisha celebrates April 1 as the Utkala Dibasa to remember the greatmen and legendaries who sacrificed their lives for formation of Odisha as the separate state based on language in the year 1936.

Taking to microblogging site Twitter, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik wished people on the 83rd Utkala Dibasa celebration.

Worth mentioning, Odisha is the first state to have been created based on linguistic in India.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi too conveyed his message to Odisha people through Twitter.

Renowned sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik is always remembered on every special occasion. He also wished people of the state through sand sculpture at Puri beach.

His students also created a beautiful sand art on the auspicious occasion at Chandrabhaga beach in Konark.

Eminent sand artist Manas Sahoo also greeted people creating a beautiful sand art at Chandrabhaga beach in Konark.
