Naveen skips Niti Aayog meeting, sends minister

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today skipped the Niti Aayog meeting scheduled to be held in Mumbai today.

In place of the CM, Agriculture Minister Arun Sahoo will attend the the second meeting of High Powered Committee of Chief Ministers on Transformation of Indian Agriculture organised by Niti Aayog today.

Sources said at the meeting, Sahoo will put forth various proposals regarding income of farmers, development of their skills and agricultural productivity.

The meeting to be chaired by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will have discussions on seven agendas for bringing an overall development in the agriculture sector, sources added.
