Kolkata: The 23rd International Foodtech-2026, one of Eastern India's largest and most established trade exhibitions for the food and hospitality industry, will be held from August 21 to 23, 2026, at the Biswa Bangla Milan Mela Complex, opposite Science City in Kolkata.

The three-day exhibition is expected to bring together industry leaders, manufacturers, suppliers and entrepreneurs from across India and abroad, offering a comprehensive platform to explore the latest advancements in the bakery, confectionery, dairy, ice cream, food processing and hospitality sectors.

More than 150 reputed companies from India and overseas will showcase cutting-edge products, equipment and technologies. Exhibits will include bakery and confectionery machinery, food and beverage packaging solutions, smart kitchen equipment, commercial refrigeration systems, dairy and ice cream manufacturing equipment, premium food ingredients, commercial chocolates, whipping cream, seasonings, modern tableware and glassware, coffee vending machines, hospitality IT solutions, eco-friendly food packaging, biodegradable packaging materials, processed foods and beverages, mocktail solutions, hospitality consumables and bakery accessories.

Organisers said the exhibition will serve as a one-stop destination for entrepreneurs looking to establish or expand businesses in the food and hospitality sector. It is expected to be particularly beneficial for those planning to start bakery cafés, full-scale bakeries, quick-service restaurants (QSRs), catering businesses or other food ventures.

The event will also provide visitors with an opportunity to interact directly with leading manufacturers and suppliers under one roof, compare products and technologies, and stay updated on the latest industry trends, innovations and changing consumer preferences.

More than 20,000 trade visitors from West Bengal, Odisha, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Tripura, as well as Bangladesh and Nepal, are expected to attend the exhibition.

Entrepreneurs from Odisha are expected to benefit from the event by exploring solutions to improve productivity, food quality, food safety standards and operational efficiency in their businesses.
