Bhubaneswar: The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) has announced the appointment of Jagannath Prasad Nayak, President & Unit Head, Aditya Aluminium – Lapanga, Hindlaco Industries Ltd as the new Chair of the FICCI Odisha State Council.

Nayak is a dynamic and result oriented manufacturing & metallurgy professional with MBA and having 33 years of diversified experience in major Aluminium Smelting, Captive Power Generation & Downstream Units, adept at both technical & managerial aspects of Manufacturing Plant Operations.

He was the Winner of Young Metallurgist of the Year by Ministry of Mines for 2006, ABG Chairman’s Individual Exceptional Contributor Award in 2014; Manufacturing Transformation Champion of the Year Award 2024 from Frost & Sullivan.

Nayak has also worked in Hindalco Hirakud Smelter, Mahan Aluminium, Vedanta Aluminium, Oman Aluminium (Sultanate of Oman); Hindalco’s Aluminium Smelter Plant at Renukoot, Uttar Pradesh prior to his current appointment.

Sanjaya Satapathy, CHRO, IMFA Ltd was appointed as the Co-Chair of the FICCI Odisha State Council.
