In a significant move to boost industrial growth, Sampad Chandra Swain, Minister for Industries, Skill Development, and Technical Education, chaired a comprehensive review meeting of the Industrial Promotion and Investment Corporation of Odisha Limited (IPICOL). The high-level session was attended by Hemant Sharma, Additional Chief Secretary, Aboli Naravane, Managing Director of IPICOL and Director of Industries, alongside other senior officials from IPICOL.

Bhubaneswar: In a significant move to boost industrial growth, Sampad Chandra Swain, Minister for Industries, Skill Development, and Technical Education, chaired a comprehensive review meeting of the Industrial Promotion and Investment Corporation of Odisha Limited (IPICOL). The high-level session was attended by Hemant Sharma, Additional Chief Secretary, Aboli Naravane, Managing Director of IPICOL and Director of Industries, alongside other senior officials from IPICOL. 

During the session, the Minister reviewed the progress of ongoing industrial activities, project grounded status, and upcoming investment roadshows. Emphasizing the state's vision of turning investment intents into reality, Swain directed all sectoral nodal officers to adopt an entrepreneurial mindset and support industries more proactively to facilitate smooth operations.

The discussion also highlighted Odisha’s notable achievements in and status of further improving the Ease of Doing Business (EoDB) frameworks and the successful deployment of advanced digital interventions to support industries in the state. The Minister stressed the adoption of a structured framework focused on data-driven investor targeting, robust project monitoring through district-level agencies, and upcoming outreach events to anchor Odisha as a premier global investment destination.
