Bhubaneswar: Good news for panicked farmers as there is no possibility of rain under influence of low pressure till November 16 in Odisha.

According to IMD forecast, heavy rains are likely to occur in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Coastal Andhra Pradesh during the next four days.

The low pressure area over southwest Bay of Bengal and neighbourhood with associated cyclonic circulation extending upto 7.6 km above mean sea level still persists.

A fresh low pressure area is likely to form over southeast Bay of Bengal and neighbourhood around November 14.

In view of the possible rain due to low pressure formed over the southwest Bay of Bengal, the government had issued alert for the farmers to preserve their crops.

With the recent weather forecast by IMD, the bewildered farmers will continue the process of harvesting the crops during the onset of winter.
