Bhubaneswar: While nor'wester has brought much needed respite from scorching heat wave across Odisha, the same is likely to continue in various parts of the state till May 4, the local meteorological centre predicted.

"Kalabaisakhi likely to continue up to 4th May,2018 over different parts of Odisha but its intensity likely to be more in North Odisha region," a release of the meteorological centre said.

On the other hand, nor'wester accompanied with hail, rain and wind speed reaching 60-70 KMPH has been predicted in six districts-- Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur and Kendrapara-- today between 6 PM and 10 PM.
