OCS(Main) Exam: OPSC issues guidelines for candidates; see details

Bhubaneswar: As the Covid cases surge in the State, the Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) issued a set of guidelines for candidates appearing for the OCS(Main) Examination 2020 and the Assistant Surgeon Examination.

In a statement, the commission stated wearing N95 face mask is mandatory for all candidates. Candidates without mask will not be allowed to enter into the exam venue.

They will be asked to remove their masks for verification, whenever required by the examination functionaries, the statement added.

Candidates may carry his/her hand sanitiser (small size) in a transparent bottle. However, provisions have been made for sanitization of hands at each examination hall.

They must follow Covid-19 norms of social distancing as well as personal hygiene insider the examination hall as well as in the premises of the venue. The sitting arrangements have been made accordingly keeping in view the social distancing norms, it read.

In case a candidate develops Covid symptoms, he/she shall bring it to the notice of the Invigilator immediately. Isolation-cum-Examination hall has been arranged for such candidates.

It is worth to mention that the OCS(Main) Examination 2020 will be held from January 20, 2022 whereas the Assistant Surgeon Examination has been scheduled on January 23, 2022.
