New Delhi: It is indeed a matter of delight for Odisha as Ollywood actor Prakruti Mishra here today received the National Film Award in ‘Special Mention category’ for ‘Hello Arsi’.

The young actor received the coveted award from Union Information & Broadcasting Minister Smriti Irani in the presence of Minister of State for Information & Broadcasting at the 65th National Film Awards ceremony held at Vigyan Bhavan this afternoon.

The award ceremony was a lackluster affair as several artists boycotted protesting the last minute announcement that President Ram Nath Kovind would be presenting only 11 of more than 80 awards.

Notably, the prestigious award is presented by President of India in the presence of Minister of Information and Broadcasting every year.

In her reaction, Prakruti Mishra said: “It is a matter of pride for me to receive National Film Award. It doesn’t make any difference whether the award is presented by President or Minister. I am grateful to the producer, director, my father and others involved in the making of the film.”
