Bhubaneswar: An Odisha-born film director has drawn the attention of many by making movies in Hollywood.

Jaimin Bal, a native of Keonjhar district, has completed shooting for his Hollywood debut movie ‘Virginity For Sale’. The movie will be released on American OTT platform Hulu very soon. Actors Emma Larman and Jennifer Warren have essayed important characters in the movie, sources said.

Bal has already started work for his next Hollywood movie ‘The Salacity’, featuring actors like Abi Liz-King, Wayne Edge and Vladimir Angelove. The film will be released exclusively on Amazon Prime, sources added.

Bal had earlier worked as assistant director in several Bollywood (Hindi) movies like Om Shanti Om, Humko Deewana Kar Gaye and Golmaal Returns. He has the experience of working with directors like Raj Kanwar, Farha Khan and Rohit Shetty, sources added.

There are reports that popular Hollywood actress Cameron Diaz has expressed her interest in one of the scripts of the Odisha-born film director.
