Bhubaneswar: A tribal girl from Odisha’s Koraput district has drawn the attention of many by acting in a Telugu movie recently.

Suman Khillo, a resident of Semiliguda in Koraput, has played a small role in Telugu movie Mangalavaaram. The movie was released in November this year and it has been dubbed in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada.

Actors like Payal Rajput, Nandita Shwetha, Divya Pillai, Priyadarshi Pulikonda, Ajmal Ameer, Kamal Krishna, Sharvan Reddy, Ajay Ghosh and Dayanand Reddy have essayed important roles in Mangalavaaram, helmed by Ajay Bhupathi.

Suman, who belongs to the Gadaba community, had completed her school education and Diploma in mechanical engineering from Semiliguda before moving to the Odisha capital to do graduation in fashion designing.

She had won a few beauty pageant titles during her graduation at the National Institute of Fashion Designing in the capital city here, sources said.
