Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government today effected a major administrative reshuffle in the state.

As per official notification, IAS officer GVV Sharma, who was serving as the Additional Chief Secretary of Higher Education Department, has been posted as member of Board of Revenue.

Similarly, IAS officer Dr. Mona Sharma, who was earlier working as the Principal Secretary of Tourism and Culture Department, has been appointed as Principal Secretary of Rural Development Department.

Likewise, IAS officer Bishnupada Sethi, who was the Secretary of Rural Development Department, has been posted as Secretary of Higher Education Department with additional charge of Special Relief Commissioner and MD, Odisha State Disaster Management Authority (OSDMA).

Vishal Kumar Dev, Sports Department Secretary, has been given additional charge of Tourism and Culture Department Secretary and Chairman, Odisha Hydro Power Corporation Ltd. (OHPC).

Among others, Purusottam Sahoo, Additional Secretary of Handloom, Textiles and Handicrafts Department, has been posted as Additional Secretary of Health and Family Welfare Department.

Goswami Golam Debta, Additional Secretary of Health and Family Welfare Department, has been appointed as IGR, Odisha with additional charge of Secretary of Board of Revenue.

V Jaya Kumar, Joint Secretary of Water Resources Department, has been given new charge of Planning & Convergence Department Joint Secretary. Yeddula Vijay, Dharmagarh Sub-Collector, has been posted as Under Secretary of Home Department.

OAS officer Niranjan Nayak, MD of Civil Supplies Corporation, has been appointed as MD, Odisha Lift Irrigation Corporation. Saroj Samal, MD, Odisha State Warehousing Corporation, has been given additional charge of MD, Civil Supplies Corporation.
