Odisha: Last date of submission of applications for Plus 2 admissions extended again

Bhubaneswar: The last date of submission of applications for Plus 2 admissions in Higher Secondary Schools across Odisha has been extended to June 30.

The School and Mass Education (S&ME) department has extended the last date of submission of online applications for Plus 2 admissions for the second time as per the requests of the parents, said a senior official today.

The S&ME department had earlier extended the last date of submission of online applications to June 26. As per the original scheduled, the last date was June 20, added the official.

Now, the students can submit their applications online through Student Academic Management System (SAMS) Portal (www.samsodisha.gov.in) till June 30, said the official.

The first merit list for Plus 2 admissions will be published on July 6. The first phase admissions will be done in between July 7 and 13, sources said.

The second merit list will be published on July 19 and the admissions will be completed by July 22.

The spot admission process will begin on July 21 and continue till July 27.

The classes for the fresh batch of Plus 2 students will start on August 1, said the official.
