Odisha Matric exam question pattern to undergo major change

Cuttack: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha has decided to effect major changes in the question pattern of the annual Matric examination from 2020-21 academic session.

The OMR sheet & multiple choice questions will be abolished whereas objective questions of 50 marks and subjective type questions of 50 marks will feature in the question booklet, informed BSE president Jahanara Begum today.

A student will have to secure 15 marks each in objective and subjective category to pass in a subject.

In another exam reformation, four sets of question papers will be prepared from next year instead of the existing three sets.

The question pattern for Class-IX students will be same as the one proposed to be implemented from 2020-21 session, she said.
