Odisha sand artists create sand sculptures on World Water Day

Noted Sand artists Sudarsan Pattnaik and Manas Sahoo have created two separate sand sculptures on the occasion of World Water Day on Puri sea beach.

Manas Sahoo created a five-foot high sand sculpture in the theme of 'Why waste water' depicting the importance of water and to create public awareness for saving of water.

Taking to microblogging site Twitter Sahoo posted, "On the eve of world water day,sand artist #ManasSahoo has created a sand sculpture on puri sea beach, odisha, depicting importance of water".

On the other hand, Sundarsan Pattnaik and his students also created a sand art on the beach to mark the World Water Day and spread the message about water conservation.

"On #WorldWaterDay, I appeal all to please save and not waste water. Few of my SandArts at #Puri beach, Odisha", Pattnaik tweeted.
