Baripada: The Baripada Town police have arrested a youth for allegedly circulating nude photos of his lover, a girl student of a college in Odisha's Mayurbhanj district.

According to police sources, the arrested, a student of the same college and resident of Baiganabadia under Kuliana police limits, had a love affair with the girl.

He later started blackmailing her with some photos of their private moments. After the photos went viral on WhatsApp, the father of the girl lodged an FIR with Baripada Town police yesterday.

Police last night questioned him about the incident and later arrested him.

Worth mentioning, the arrest comes on the day when three persons were arrested in connection with a viral video in which a girl was forced to remove her clothes in the district.
