Puri, Apr 18:

Renowned sand artist Manas Kumar Sahoo created a sand sculpture on Puri sea beach in Odisha on the eve of World Heritage Day with a message of protecting and preserving cultural heritage and monuments.

The 15-feet-long sand art was sculpted using 20 tonnes of sand after an eight-hour-long effort.

"The sand art features Konark Temple, Puri Shree Mandir, Big Ben, Pyramid and other famous sculptures across the globe. We are giving a message of saving these cultural wonders of the world," Sahoo said.
