Bhubaneswar: One of the separated conjoined twins Jaga will soon return home following treatment at AIIMS in New Delhi.

The condition of Jaga is improving faster than Kalia after two major surgeries and he is likely to be discharged from the hospital soon, sources said.

Jaga on Christmas i.e on Oct 25 underwent a skin grafting surgery to repair parts of his skull.

A team of doctors from Neuro Anaesthesia and Plastic Surgery departments of New Delhi AIIMS conducted the surgery on Jaga's skull at around 9.30 am and the surgery lasted for three hours.

Before discharging him from the hospital, Jaga will be put under observation by the doctors and his health condition will be examined.

While Jaga has shown progress health following segregation surgery, his twin brother Kalia is improving very slowly. Kalia may take another four months to be completely well, sources said.

The parents of the separated conjoined twins are hopeful to take the duo home after their treatment.
