Odisha's Sudarsan Pattnaik creates world's biggest sand sculpture of Lord Jagannath on New Year

Puri: Internationally acclaimed sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik welcomed New Year with completing world's biggest sand sculpture of Lord Jagannath at sea beach here.

The 30-ft high and 60-ft wide sand Lord Jagannath drew instant attention of the tourists visiting the sea beach on eve of New Year 2018.

With help of students, Pattnaik built the huge sand sculpture of Lord Jagannath to wish entire world a happy and prosperous New Year 2018.

Taking to Twitter, he wrote: World's biggest sand #Lord #Jagannath my SandArt at Puri beach in Odisha, #NewYear2018

Last week, he had created world's biggest sand Santa Claus face on eve of Christmas.

Earlier, Pattnaik had set a series of world records by constructing sand arts on various occasions.
