Bhubaneswar: Leader of Opposition in the Odisha Legislative Assembly and Biju Janata Dal (BJD) President Naveen Patnaik is set to return to Bhubaneswar on Saturday afternoon, July 12, after recuperating in Mumbai. The information was shared today by BJD Vice President Debi Prasad Mishra.

Patnaik had travelled to Mumbai on June 20 for the treatment of cervical arthritis. He underwent a successful procedure at the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital on June 22, performed under the supervision of renowned cardiologist Dr. Ramakant Panda, who also serves as Patnaik’s personal physician.

Following his discharge from the hospital on July 7, Patnaik has been receiving post-operative care in Mumbai. With his recovery now complete, he will return to Bhubaneswar as on July 12.

Mishra added party leaders and workers will welcome the BJD president at the Biju Patnaik International Airport and along the route leading to his residence, Naveen Nivas.
