Bhubaneswar: Bhubaneswar Chapter of Public Relations Society of India (PRSI) observed National Public Relations Day here on Sunday. The theme of National PR Day 2019 was ‘One Nation One Agenda One Voice’.

Addressing the gathering as a keynote speaker on the occasion, Priyadarshi Pany, Founder & CEO, CSM Technologies discussed on Role of Information Technology in Nation Building. He said, “Information Technology, not just social media, plays a big role in getting our voice heard, setting up the agenda and building democracy. Data is being translated as knowledge and wisdom. This helps in building the nation”. He also informed about use of IT in enhancing efficiency of public welfare programmes.

Amar Jyoti Mahapatra, Chairman of PRSI Bhubaneswar Chapter briefed about PRSI Bhubaneswar Chapter and importance of National Public Relations Day.

Various members of PRSI Bhubaneswar Chapter, journalism and mass Communication students were present in the programme. Sanjay Kumar Sahoo, Secretary of the Chapter proposed the vote of thanks.
