Radio Choklate kickstarts search for college prodigies with 'Choklate All-Rounder'

Khordha: Odisha's no.1 private FM station Radio Choklate 104 FM is scouting for entertainers and performers in colleges across Odisha. This campaign, called 'Choklate All-Rounder' begun yesterday and the first college the Radio Choklate team visited was Prananath Autonomous College in Khordha.

About 50 students participated in the competition and were cheered on by a 600-strong crowd. Ollywood singer Pragyan Hota entertained everyone with her singing. Shashank Sekhar, Narayan Nayak and Soumyashree Das were selected as finalists and were awarded by Techno Mobiles Marketing Officer (East Zone) Rakesh Kumar Padhi.

The competition will constitute of two rounds: talent round where the participants introduced themselves and then perform a stint (eg: singing, dancing, playing an instrument, mimicry, etc.), and the jury round, where the participants faced the jury and their questions on RJ-ing skills, quizzes and extempore.

This event was sponsored by Amrut Water, Techno Mobile, Oraimo, LIC, Laxmi Mobiles, Bara Kakera, Rapido Bike Taxi, SBI, Safal and What's Cooking and Hindustan Advertising Agency as outdoor partner.

'Choklate All-Rounder' will be held in Jupiter Science College, HiTech College, GITA Engineering College, Satya Sai Women's College, City College (Cuttack), KMBB Engineering College and KIIT College in the next seven days. Three finalists will be chosen from each of the eight participating colleges and three 'Choklate All-Rounders' will be adjudged from amongst 24 finalists in a grand finale.
