Seven more places in Odisha get the tourist site recognition taking the number to 357.

Among other sites, Satyabhamapur in Cuttack, birthplace of Utkal Gourav Madhusudan Das, got tourist spot tag.

“Seven more places have been added to the list of tourist sites. Earlier it was 350, now it stands at 357. As per the announcement of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, birthplace of Utkal Gaurav Madhusudan Das will be developed as tourist site,” said Tourism and Culture Minister Ashok Chandra Panda.

Besides, the historic site of Lunia in Bhadrak district has found place in the newly prepared list.

Infrastructure at the new sites will be developed and security measures will be put in place so that it would attract more tourists, Panda added.
