New Delhi: Wrestling icon Hulk Hogan, one of the most celebrated figures in professional wrestling history, passed away today at the age of 71.

According to media reports, Hogan was found dead at his home in Clearwater, Florida.

Hogan rose to global fame through his work with WWE and World Championship Wrestling (WCW), becoming a household name during the 1980s wrestling boom. 

Known for his flamboyant personality, towering physique, trademark blond horseshoe moustache, and trademark bandanas, he was widely regarded as one of the most recognisable and influential wrestlers of all time.

In September 2023, Hogan married yoga instructor Sky Daily in an intimate ceremony in Florida.
