Keonjhar: School and Mass Education Minister Badri Narayan Patra escaped unhurt this evening as stone was pelted at his SUV in Odisha’s Keonjhar district while he was on his way to participate in an idol immersion ceremony.

Unidentified miscreants pelted stones at his Toyota Fortuner car which damaged the rear windshield of the vehicle.

The Ghasipura MLA, however, escaped unhurt. Following the incident, tension prevailed in the area under Anandpur block in the district. Police has, meanwhile, launched an investigation into the incident to nab the unidentified miscreants.

Patra had gone to Belabahali to participate in Ganesh idol immersion ceremony.
