Eminent sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik has created a sand art on occasion of International Pakhala Dibasa to celebrate the day at Puri sea beach in Odisha.

Pattnaik also shared his creation on Pakhala Dibasa on microblogging site Twitter.

"Happy #PakhalaDibasa, A day dedicated for the unique #Odia delicacy- PAKHALA. My SandArt on the occasion at Puribeach", he tweeted.

The post was retweeted by Indian celebrity chef Sanjeev Kapoor and many others.

People of Odisha residing in the cities like Bengaluru and Delhi are also celebrating the day having the delicious item in their lunch and posted it on Twitter.
