The magician on sand, renowned sand artist from Odisha, Sudarsan Pattnaik on the verge of setting a world record! With the world famous Rath Yatra just a couple of days away, Pattnaik is sculpting a total of a whopping 100 miniature chariot models on the Puri beach prior to this mega event.

"Since the last two days, I and 25 other students from my institute are toiling away to set this record after getting an official permission from the editor of Limca Book of Records, " said a visibly enthusiastic Pattnaik.

Though the monsoon rain has been playing spoilsport, it has not deterred Pattnaik from his goal. A tent has been erected to prevent total washout of these marvels on sand prior to Rath Yatra to be held on July 6.
