Bhubaneswar: While the rise in mercury level has thrown life out of gear in most parts of Odisha, the Regional Meteorological Centre today issued heatwave condition warning for several districts.

The districts where intense heatwave condition is likely prevail during the next two days are Nabarangpur, Balangir, Boudh, Sonepur and Bargarh, the Meteorological Centre forecasted.

It further said that the condition will have its impact on infants and elderly persons with chronic diseases.

As many as 14 places of Odisha had yesterday experienced a highest temperature of above 40 degree Celsius.
