UGC announces dates for CUET(UG)-2022; check now

New Delhi: The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for Under Graduate courses at universities and colleges affiliated to central universities will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) this year.

Chairman of the University Grants Commission (UGC), Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar informed that CUET (UG)–2022 will be held at different centres located in 554 cities across India and 13 cities abroad.

The CUET (UG) will be conducted on computer-based mode (CBT).

Jagadesh Kumar further informed the entrance test will be held on July 15, 16, 19 and 20, and August 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 10.

The UGC chairman advised candidates to keep visiting the NTA websites—https://cuet.samarth.ac.in and http://nta.ac.in—for further updates with regards to the examination.

Earlier, the medium of examination was only in English. But now it will be conducted in 13 languages, which are English, Hindi, Marathi, Assamese, Bengali, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Odia, Gujarati, Tamil, Punjabi and Urdu.

Official sources said from 2023 onwards, the CUET will be conducted twice a year, and the process is likely to include Postgraduate courses as well from the next year.
