Berhampur: A college girl showed bravery by thrashing a youth with her shoe for allegedly following her regularly on the road here in Odisha's Ganjam district.

The girl bagged applause from the locals for the befitting action against the stalker on a busy street in the broad day light.

The incident was reported from Gandhi Nagar area in Berhampur city yesterday.

According to reports, amidst crowd on the street, a college girl parked her bicycle near the road and advanced towards the youth and started slapping him with her shoe.

She was also heard warning the youth to face worst consequence if she will ever find him stalking on her way.

The locals, who were standing and watching the entire scene, did not interrupt in the incident, rather captured it on their phones.

Later, the video went viral on social media just few hours of the incident.
