Cuttack: Conducting raids at various food stalls at Bali Jatra in Odisha's Cuttack, officials of Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) have seized around 3.5 quintals of stale and sub-standard food items in the last two days.

The food items, mainly comprising Thunka Puri, Dahi Bara, Mathura Cake, Lanka Chop and fast foods, were seized after raiding as many as 350 food stalls. Besides, notices have been served to six stall owners for using pumpkin and artificial colours as sauce.

The district administration has also warned them to abstain from such practices.
