Bhubaneswar: Veteran anti-graft crusader Anna Hazare is scheduled to address a large number of farmers at a massive rally to be held by Navnirman Krushak Sangathan on November 23 in Jagatsinghpur.

The massive rally will be organised to put pressure on the government demanding to increase paddy price to Rs 2,930 per quintal, informed Navnirman Krushak Sangathan convener Akshaya Kumar here today.

The protest will be widened in future if the demands are not met, he added.

Notably, the farmers body has been fighting demanding hike of minimum support price (MSP) of paddy, pension and prestige for farmers.

Last month, the organisation had held a national convention at Sansad Marg in New Delhi. The rally was inaugurated by Anna Hazare.
