Sambalpur: In a major crackdown, police raided a gambling den at Khariapada under Hirakud police station limits in Sambalpur district. A total of 15 people were detained following the raid.

In addition, police seized cash amounting to ₹2,72,460, along with 14 mobile phones and three packets of playing cards.

Also, 11 vehicles were seized from the spot, including six motorcycles, three scooters and two cars.

Further details regarding the investigation and possible legal action against those detained are awaited.
