Bhubaneswar: Three labourers were killed after their motorcycle skidded off a ghat in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district.

The mishap took place in Gorumahisani area of Mayurbhanj. The deceased have been identified as Manoj Munda and Manoj Mundari of Sanajhari village and Veer Singh Munda of Dudhichua village.

As per reports, the three labourers along with a few others had gone to a nearby village yesterday to erect tents for a wedding ceremony.  

The mishap took place while the trio was returning home on a bike last night. The three labourers died on the spot.  

Some cow grazers spotted the bodies today afternoon and informed the villagers. Soon the family members of the three labourers rushed to the spot and identified their bodies.

On being informed, the Gorumahisani police recovered the bodies and sent them for postmortem after registering a case in this regard.
