Amit Shah's Odisha visit in July cancelled

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has cancelled his scheduled two-day visit to Odisha, during which he was to attend public meetings in Bargarh and Sambalpur on July 4 and 5.

Bhubaneswar: Union Home Minister Amit Shah has cancelled his scheduled two-day visit to Odisha, during which he was to attend public meetings in Bargarh and Sambalpur on July 4 and 5.

The cancellation of the visit was confirmed by Bargarh MP Pradip Purohit. According to him, the Union Home Minister will not be able to travel to the state due to rough weather conditions.

During his visit, Shah was scheduled to inaugurate an ethanol project with several other development projects. He was also expected to address public meetings in Bargarh and Sambalpur as part of his Odisha programme.
