Bhubaneswar: At least five undertrial prisoners (UTPs) of Jharpara Special Jail in the Odisha capital here were hospitalised after they fell ill on Tuesday.

As per reports, the five UTPs were immediately rushed to the Capital Hospital after they complained of some health complications in the evening.

Among the five, three UTPs were admitted to the ICUs and their conditions are stated to be serious.

On being informed, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Jagmohan Meena and other senior police officials reached Capital Hospital and took stock of the situation.
