Bhubaneswar: A fire broke out at the Sreeleathers showroom located near Rajmahal Square in Bhubaneswar early on Friday morning.

According to reports, smoke was noticed coming out of the showroom at around 5 am. On being informed, Fire Services personnel rushed to the spot to douse the flames.

As the operation continued, additional firefighting teams also joined the efforts. They managed to bring the blaze under control and prevent it from spreading further.

No injuries or casualties have been reported in the incident.

The exact cause of the fire was yet to be determined. It was suspected that an electrical short circuit might have led to the fire mishap.

The extent of the damage to articles present inside the shop was yet to be ascertained.
