Bhubaneswar: The Higher Education Department of the Odisha government today issued notification for admission into the three-year LLB course in various institutions in the state for the academic session 2026-27.

The candidates can submit their online applications through the Student Academic Management System (SAMS) portal (www.samsodisha.gov.in) from 4 pm on July 18 to 11.45 pm on July 30.

The Higher Education Department will publish the first selection merit list at 2 pm on August 6, said an official.

The admission of the selected candidates will be done between August 7 and 11, he added.

The second selection merit list will be published at 2 pm on August 17. The candidates will report for admission between August 18 and 20.

The classes for the three-year LLB courses in the state for the 2026-27 academic session are scheduled to commence on August 21.

It is worth mentioning here that Odisha has altogether 390 LLB seats in four institutions under the Higher Education Department.
