Bhubaneswar: The police have arrested a delivery boy on charges of making obscene gestures towards college girls in Odisha’s Cuttack city.

The arrested has been identified as Rudra Narayan Sahoo of Alam Chand Bazar under Lalbag police limits in the Silver City.

As per reports, the delivery boy had allegedly made obscene gestures towards the hostel inmates of a women’s college in Cuttack on July 10.

A video of the incident later went viral on social media.

The accused had allegedly unauthorizedly entered into the campus of the college in the night hours.

The police had registered a case in this regard on the basis of an FIR lodged by the college principal.

The accused delivery boy had absconded soon after committing the crime, reports said.

The police arrested the accused delivery boy on Friday and produced him in a local court.

The cops are verifying the criminal antecedents of the accused.
