Bhubaneswar: The Higher Education Department has issued a notification inviting applications for admission to the Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) in Odisha for the academic session 2026–27. Eligible students can apply for the programme through the SAMS portal.

According to the notification, the online application process will begin on June 20 and remain open till July 5. The first merit list for admission will be published on July 10.

Admissions to the ITEP programme will be conducted on the basis of marks secured in the National Common Entrance Test (NCET)-2026 conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), said the Higher Education Department.

“Classes for the Integrated Teacher Education Programme for the academic session 2026–27 will commence from August 1,” it added.

Students aspiring to pursue the Integrated Teacher Education Programme have been advised to visit the SAMS portal and complete the application process within the stipulated deadline, said the department.
