Bhubaneswar: Odisha Uniformed Services Staff Selection Commission (OUSSSC) Chairman Rashmi Ranjan Swain today informed that the recruitment examination for Sub-Inspector (SI) posts, which was cancelled due to an alleged question paper leak, will be completed by October this year.
Swain said the state government is committed to conducting a fair, transparent and error-free examination. He assured that candidates who were deprived of the opportunity to appear for the examination due to the question paper leak will be allowed to take the test.
Those who have crossed the age limit in the meantime will also remain eligible to appear, he said.
Swain further clarified that there will be no change in the number of applicants eligible for the recruitment process. He also said the examination pattern and syllabus will remain unchanged.
Reiterating the government's commitment to a transparent recruitment process, Swain said all necessary measures are being taken to ensure that the examination is conducted without any irregularities.
