Bhubaneswar: The authorities of the Nandankanan Zoological Park in Odisha have announced that both the zoological and botanical parks will remain open to visitors on Monday, June 15, on the occasion of Raja Sankranti.

As per the revised schedule, the parks will remain closed on Tuesday, June 16, instead of their regular weekly closure on Monday.

Both parks normally remain closed every Monday. However, when major public holidays coincide with a Monday, the parks remain open on that day.

As Raja Sankranti falls on Monday this year, visitors will be able to access both the zoological and botanical parks on June 15.

The announcement has been made to inform visitors and tourists planning to visit Nandankanan for the Raja festival celebrations.
