Sundaragada: Two drivers were burnt alive after two trucks collided head-on and caught fire near Amlabahal Chhak on the Sundaragada Coal Corridor in Odisha late last night.

The impact of the collision triggered a massive fire, trapping both drivers inside their respective vehicles. They were burnt to death before they could be rescued. Their identities have not yet been established.

Local drivers tried to rescue the trapped men, but the intensity of the flames made it extremely difficult to approach the burning vehicles.

Police reached the accident site and launched an investigation into the incident.
