Bhubaneswar: Odisha School & Mass Education Department released the first selection merit list for +2 admission in the academic session 2024-25.

As per the list, 4,26,472 candidates have been selected out of total 4,76,093 applicants in the first phase for admission at higher secondary schools across the state.

Of total candidates selected in the first phase, 2,71,492 students have been selected for admission into Arts stream, 1,17,273 into Science, 24,354 into Commerce, 8,375 into Upashastri and 4,978 into Vocational courses.

Of the total applicants, 4,48,132 were from the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha, out of which 3,99,445 were selected in the first merit list for admission into various streams for this academic session.

Ravenshaw Higher Secondary School, Cuttack, topped the list with highest cut-off percentage of 75.17, 91.5, and 77 in Arts, Science and Commerce streams respectively.

The classes will commence from August 1 for the academic session 2024-25.
