Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today dedicated the newly developed Government of Odisha Single Window for Investor Facilitation and Tracking (GO SWIFT) portal to the investor community and the public.

With the launch of GO SWIFT, the approval process for 32 services from 15 state government departments has been made online. The portal provides updated information relating to latest rules, policy initiatives and reforms undertaken by the government of Odisha to facilitate and handhold the investors.

All existing technological applications of the Industries Department including GO PLUS, Central Inspection Framework, Automated Post Allotment Application, CSR Portal and State Project Monitoring Group portal have been integrated with GO SWIFT.

Access to all these services is now available through single sign-on user credentials. To facilitate tracking and monitoring of applications, GO SWIFT sends out SMS and e-mail notifications to investors at critical stages of processing of applications. The investors can also monitor the real-time status of their submitted applications through a dashboard on the portal.

With the provision of Department Dashboards for senior government officials on GO-SWIFT, officials can monitor all important details concerning each industrial unit in the State including status of approvals by various departments, employment generated by the unit, grievance resolution and incentive disbursement.

"To ensure efficiency, all clearances required by the industry will be delivered in a time bound manner as per the timelines laid down under the Odisha Right to Public Services Act," the CM said.

Today also marked the 75th meeting of the State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA). Patnaik lauded the efforts of the SLSWCA and added that it is due to such collaborative efforts of all departments of the Government of Odisha that the State has consistently ranked amongst the top 3 states in terms of live investments in India.

The Chief Minister also announced that the Make in Odisha Conclave-2018 shall be organized between November 11 and November 15, 2018 in Bhubaneswar.
