Bhubaneswar: Vigilance sleuths today raided office and residences of the Auditor of the state Higher Education Department, Sudhir Chandra Tripathy, on charges of amassing property disproportionate to his known sources of income.

Acting on a search warrant, the anti-graft officials conducted the raids simultaneously at five places, including his Government quarters here.

However, the exact amount of disproportionate assets that the official has possessed will be ascertained after completion of the raids.
