Bhubaneswar: Three bike-borne miscreants reportedly looted gold, silver and cash worth over Rs 4 crore from a jeweller at gunpoint in Odisha’s Ganjam district today.

The incident took place at Sunamohi Nuasahi under Dharakote police limits in Aska area of Ganjam.

The miscreants looted 3 kg gold, 70 kg silver, ornaments worth over Rs 2 crore and Rs 2 lakh in cash from Sairam Jewellers of Gopal Krushna Jena.

The miscreants threatened Jena with a gun and tied his hands and legs before looting the ornaments and cash from his shop.

The miscreants along with the booty vanished from the scene immediately.

On being informed, the police reached the spot and launched a probe into the incident.
