Bargarh: A video showing a woman brutally assaulting her mother-in-law went viral on social media in Odisha.

The incident was reported from Gaisilat area in Bargarh district where the woman physically assaulted an old woman reportedly over family feud.

The accused woman was arrested following the video went viral on the internet.

The video shows that a woman was dragging her mother-in-law on the road and trying to drive her out of house. Even after request from the elderly woman, the ruthless daughter-in-law did not stop and continued assaulting her mother-in-law.

Ironically, the neighbours and villagers were watching the scene without intervening into the matter. They witnessed the woman's apathy towards her mother-in-law as the mute spectators.
